What Does "Make City Hall Make Sense" Mean?
You may have seen my signs around town asking us to Make City Hall Make Sense.
It's more than a campaign slogan. It's a commitment to the kind of leadership I believe Key West deserves.
To me, making City Hall make sense means focusing on the issues that matter most to our community—not politics, distractions, or special interests.
It means listening before deciding. Spending taxpayer dollars responsibly. Asking tough questions. Being transparent and accountable. And remembering that every decision should make life better for the people who call Key West home.
As your commissioner, I'll be an independent voice focused on practical solutions, responsible leadership, and protecting the unique island we all love.
Because City Hall should work for you.
Hello, friends!
I'm grateful for the opportunity to earn your support as your next Key West City Commissioner for District 5.
I believe the future of Key West is bright—but only if we have leaders who stay focused on what matters most: the people who call this island home.
If elected, I promise to be an independent voice, accountable to the residents of Key West—not special interests or politics. I'll focus on practical solutions, responsible leadership, and making City Hall work better for everyone.
Together, we can build a stronger, more affordable, and more resilient Key West while protecting the island we all love.
"Key West's best days are ahead of us. By focusing on the issues that matter most to our community—with independent leadership, accountability, and common sense—we can build a stronger future for everyone."
Working for Key West. Not Special Interests.
I believe the future of Key West is bright. With independent leadership, fiscal responsibility, and a City Hall focused on the people it serves, we can protect what makes our island special while building an even stronger future.
That's why I'm running for City Commissioner in District 5.
I don't have contracts with the City. I don't benefit from City Hall's decisions. My only responsibility is to the residents of Key West—and that's exactly how it should be.
My background as an accountant and auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers taught me how to ask tough questions, uncover waste, and ensure every dollar is spent responsibly. Those skills aren't just good for business—they're exactly what City Hall needs.
I've already put them to work. When I urged the City Commission to move a costly special election from August 2025 to November 2026, they listened. That common-sense decision saved Key West taxpayers $76,000.
But my commitment to Key West goes far beyond budgets.
I'm your neighbor. You've seen me volunteering, supporting local organizations, and investing in this community because I love this island and believe its best days are still ahead.
As your commissioner, I'll be an independent voice, accountable to residents, and focused on the issues that matter most to our community.
Together, let's make City Hall make sense.
