Hello, friends!

I’m excited to announce that I’m running to be your next
Key West City Commissioner for District 5.

For too long, City Hall has been distracted by drama and dysfunction instead of focusing on what really matters: keeping Key West livable, affordable, and accountable. Together, let’s stop creating new problems and start solving the real ones.

“Key West deserves honest, responsible leadership — not backroom deals or political games. We’ve seen too much waste and too little accountability. It’s time to bring common sense, integrity, and fiscal discipline back to City Hall.”

Hi, I’m Chris.

I’m running for City Commissioner in District 5 because I love this island and believe our community deserves leaders who act with honesty, respect your hard-earned tax dollars, and put residents first.

As a former accountant and auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers, I know how to dig into budgets, spot waste, and make sure every dollar is spent wisely.

And I’ve already proven it. When I urged the City Commission to move a costly special election—intended to extend mayoral terms from two years to four—from August 2025 to November 2026, they agreed. That single change saved Key West taxpayers $76,000.

But I’m not just a numbers guy,  I’m your neighbor. You’ve seen me volunteering, organizing, and showing up because I believe in this community and the people who make it special.

Chris is:

  • President of Keys Last Stand, protecting the Keys’ environment and quality of life for future generations.

  • A board member of Fair Insurance Rates for Monroe (FIRM) and the Key West AIDS Memorial.

  • A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a Master’s in Government Administration.

  • A proud graduate of the Key West Ambassador Program and Leadership Monroe County.

Chris Will:

  • Root out corruption and restore honesty at City Hall.

  • Be a fiscal hawk who protects your hard-earned tax dollars.

  • Ask the tough questions and demand straightforward answers.

  • Work collaboratively with city staff to create a more effective and open government.

  • Focus on real priorities — housing, infrastructure, clean water, and the livability of our neighborhoods.
